Tell us about yourself!
Howdy, y’all! I’m Dani. I’m a healthcare recruiter, a runner, a pet owner, a recreationalist, and a proponent of eating dessert first.
Why should potential healthcare travelers choose Squad Medical Staffing?
We will always go above and beyond to ensure that you have the best traveling experience. From finding you an assignment, to checking on you weekly to make sure all is well, you’ll find that Squad really does have your best interests at heart and wants to see you succeed.
What separates you among the rest as a recruiter?
As a recruiter, I strive to ensure that each traveler knows that I really care about them and want to see them find happiness, success, and reach their travel nursing goals. I work diligently to find assignments that will fit my potential travelers’ criteria. I love being a recruiter because I’m able to be an advocate for nurses who so selflessly take care of others. As a recruiter, I view my role as an extension of the work nurses are doing in the hospital. It’s very important that I’m on my A-game at all times so that the nurses I’m working with are able to give their best care to their patients. Being a recruiter is much more than just finding a nurse a contract, it’s being an advocate, and I love every second of it.
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?
I would love to visit to Alaska! I’m thinking I’ll try to take an Alaskan cruise one day. I’d love to see the Northern Lights, go kayaking around the glaciers, and do some whale watching!
The best advice you have ever received?
When you’re feeling anxious or stressed out ask yourself, “what if it turns out better than you could ever imagine?”. I’ve found that this will ease my mind and allows me to handle what I need to handle.
