Manatee Springs also offers 9 miles of nature trails, as well as a connection to the Nature Coast State Trail. This is the perfect must see destination as a travel nurse, especially for those who are looking for adventure.

Perched at the west end of Naples Municipal Beach, the Naples Pier is a stunning boardwalk that stretches 1,000 feet into the Gulf of Mexico. This pier is known for its beautiful panoramic views, especially at sunset! It’s also a great spot for fishing, since there’s plenty of room for casting lines and it does not require a fishing license. If you happen to be in the area on the 4th of July, it’s one of the best spots to catch the annual fireworks display. The best part? IT’S FREE!

Located in Key Biscayne, visitors can trek to the top of the lighthouse and view the Atlantic Ocean. If you’re lucky, you might just catch some dolphins, stingrays, or manatees swimming! The Cape Florida Light is free with park entry, and tours are available five days a week.

Take a ride on an airboat and get up close and personal with the vast wildlife, including several endangered species, snakes, birds, and of course, Alligators!
